Time to enjoy some dessert in the hot weather? This dessert shop is situated in Kuchai Lama, the same row as Papparich. It has a variety choices of desserts that you should try. As for me, mango is my favourite, so I tried Pamelo and Sago in Mango Sweet Soup and Mango Glutinous Rice Rolls. I would say the price is reasonable. Go and have a try! :)

This is situated on the 6th floor in Pavillion shopping mall. from appetizers to pasta, and pizza, and of course, we cannot miss, desserts! Besides, this place has a wide range of wines, for wine-lovers, you may try this out. For food wise, they serve nice freshly handmade pasta! *yumyum*. MARRIAGE

When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I've got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.

Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly.

She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?

I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn't love her anymore. I just pitied her!

With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company.

She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Jane so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.

The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn't have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Jane.

When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.

In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn't want anything from me, but needed a month's notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month's time and she didn't want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.

This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day.

She requested that every day for the month's duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.

I told Jane about my wife's divorce conditions. . She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully.

My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mommy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don't tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside
the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.

On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn't looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.

On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me.

On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn't tell Jane about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.

She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily.

Suddenly it hit me... she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head.

Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it's time to carry mom out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day.

But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn't noticed that our life lacked intimacy.

I drove to office.... jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind...I walked upstairs. Jane opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Jane, I do not want the divorce anymore.

She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Jane, I said, I won't divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn't value the details of our lives, not because we didn't love each other anymore. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart.

Jane seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away.

At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I'll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.

That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed - dead.
My wife had been fighting CANCER for months and I was so busy with Jane to even notice. She knew that she would die soon and she wanted to save me from the whatever negative reaction from our son, in case we push thru with the divorce.-- At least, in the eyes of our son--- I'm a loving husband....

The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves. So find time to be your spouse's friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. Do have a real happy marriage!

If you don't share this, nothing will happen to you.

If you do, you just might save a marriage.

hmm.. overall, life is pretty good except for working as a pharmacist in the hospital.. dont really enjoy it cuz of the environment.. but i m glad to have lotsa good frens around working together, which cheer me up everyday! :)

hmmm... i m missing UK SO MucH! gonna update some of the things dat I've done during my UK summer trip in my next post.. :)

wad is this all about? graduated as a pharmacist from UNIVERSITY OF STRATHCLYDE Glasgow, "proudly presents, RENA ANG, a pharmacist, graduated 4 months ago" currently doing nothing at all, unemployed, jobless! ridiculous right.. !!??!!

we are bounded with the government for 3 years' service, as well as a year's pre-reg training, bring up to a total of 4 years' work in a government hospital! dats really sucks dude.. i cant imagine myself, gotto get up early in the morning, put on nerdy wear "no short skirts above knees, hair all tied up in pony tail, put on a geeky thick black framed specs" working till 6pm everyday in a hot humid dirty environment.. dats gonna be really tough man.. :(( as a pharmacist, we must serve the community with our very best, in any circumstances.. but i think i cant survive in a government hospital for 4 bloody years.. " rena, i dun think u can survive after working for a year in a GH, sure cabut after 1 year.. " dats wad my aunt's boss said to me.. :SS

getting 3k a month? not even enough to pay off car, house rental, and a branded handbag.. :P but im happy enough dat im going to get my first car, WV Golf GTI "finger-crossed".. :D wad m i going to do now since im going to be jobless for the next 2 months, or maybe 3..??

the things dat came across my mind :

Go back to Glasgow to travel and work part time.. can earn more money! (airasia now damn cheap *winkz*)
Go back to Bintulu and accompany mum 24/7, doing nothing and enjoying life, income from dad.. :S
Stay back in KL and find a part time job.. (aunt's place looking for a temp gal) free transport and got income, and get to sit sport cars? ahhahha

still trying to work things out, doesnt wan to sit and stare at my laptop and tv 24/7 anymore..

back on mainland for the past 6 weeks
with full of excitement as well as sorrow
family and friends were all around throwing a warm welcoming back gathering
but leaving friends back in Glasgow wasn't a happy thing
starting to miss the wonderful time I had in Glasgow for 15 months
which leave me with lotsa wonderful memories behind
especially bambam, who is a really special friend to me
a humongous cup of hot choco from costa on our very first meet up
cappuccino with cream is his favourite
both meeting up at different costas which was really funny
made him walked all the way under the rain to where I am
from coffees to library, from library to lectures, from lectures to clubs
hope to get back to Glasgow again to meet all of you

finally, it's the day where we are officially graduated as a pharmacist! woot woot! ;) getting ready for the important event but before that, brought mum out to get her outfit. and mum bought me a new camera, Canon D1000 as a graduation gift! :D thanks mum!

dressed up in my black and white dress, putting on fairly simple make up, curled my hair and yes, off we go for photography! hiakhiak, with my new camera, taken lotsa pictures with all my other batchmates, both bros became the photographer. everybody's parents were here, helping their daughters and sons to take nice photos with their gown on. everybody looked so gorgeous and handsome. joshua bought me a bouquet of flowers, and bros bought me roses. :D bintulu's gang's families took a group photo together. wee! me, my mum, and bros, shyan and her parents, hongning and her parents, diana and kwang siang. too bad, my dad wasnt here to join in the crowd cuz dad just spent the last one month in Germany. guess he's too tired after all the travels.

went to the church for the ceremony. get ourselves registered. the ceremony began at 3pm where all the invited guests arrived including all the lecturers. it was not like what i've expected. it was a very simple graduation ceremony which finished in an hour time. bambam looked so smart in his kilt, distinction boy! congrats geeky benny! :P

after the ceremony, took a group photo outside the church with all the IMU students. went to the park near VO to have a couple of drinks. din managed to take pictures with all the home students, apart from chris, ben and johnny.:(

it was a very memorable day, where it only happens once in a life time! gosh, i felt so emotional. :( but i'm really glad that I've graduated. so wad's next?????? gotta get things planned.

get back home, changed, and went for dinner at La Tasca, together with diana and kwang siang. had a really nice filling meal with red wine, wasted our time chatting and sam-pating. went back home, totally knackered, had a wee rest, and get myself ready to bunker! yea.

received a sms on the 26th e from nick :

" bunker 9-10 on monday then we'll make plans! from nick, dave & ben the flowerpot men.x"

head down to bunker with flora, her bro and joshua. cool place! but it closes at 12ish. sucks! most of the home students were there. had a few drinks and chat with them. ben and dave asked me to go to hummingbird after dat, i wasnt sure cuz hummingbird sounds boring to me. but in the end, they decided to go to garage. so i agreed. "aye dave!" :P

we were wondering around in front of garage cuz some decided to go hummingbird, some decided to go box, and some had already entered garage. we spent like more than half an hour making decision! gosh. finally we all went to the box. just had a glass of gin tonic and we chao to garage. let's partyyyy!!! had lotsa fun playing n fooling around. drank quite a lot! weee.... but it doesnt matter, because it's our graduation night out!! lolxx a very memorable night for me.. :) thx bambam!! =.<

after partying, getting wet and dirty, face painted, everyone was starving, so we head off to a kebab nearby. munched some of benny's kebab and fries. they were chatting and singing all the way, still feeling high. flora and her bro left earlier cuz her mum called, joshua stayed back to accompany me. ben, nick and ross walked back to birbeck with us. joshua went back and the 3 of them crashed at my place for the night, morning instead. embarassed, cuz they said "this is the messiest kitchen dat they've ever seen" :S but dat doesnt spoil our mood. we joked around, chit chat and we all eventually dozed off on the sofas. grabbed a duvet and some pillows for them. i can still remember nick doesnt have a duvet cuz he's sitting too far away from the 3 of us. ross was teasing him "oh nick, this is so comfy, it's like on the cloud" haha, nick just ignored him.

bambam leaned on my shoulder and we all just zzz for about an hour plus. ppl in 10C got up so early, and it was so annoying, ppl started to go in and out of the kitchen, and the most irritating part is the doors! gosh. y cant ppl just hold on to their door and shut them quietly. nick and ross got reli pissed. i got a wee headache cuz din get enuf sleep. gotta catch the train down to london with mum n bros dat very morning. they left when im about to leave for the train station. mum gave them my graduation flowers cuz she said no point keeping them cuz they will rot by the time i reach here after our euro trip. nick brought the flowers to MCD! haha:P

took a shower before leaving the house and took some photos with them. i will really miss them. aww. gosh. sometimes i just dun feel like leaving scotland. making new friends is a really good thing and they were all so nice and fun! thanks guys. really enjoyed myself a lot. too bad chris, fiona and amira werent there. it would be more fun! :) there will be another night out again before leaving glasgow. :)) i think i might just drop down in tears. :( zz

this blog had been in my draft list for ages. no time to update my blog ever since finals, and after.

it's Monday 25th May. had been packing my stuff, some need to be shipped back to malaysia and some need to pass to the juniors. totally knackered. packed my luggage for my trip down to germany and amsterdam. cant wait to look for my dad there.

then bam bam msged me and asked me to go for a coffee, as im going to germany the next day so he wanted to meet up before i leave. so went down to aldi to meet him up. he was late so went in to aldi and walked around. incoming msg from bambam saying that he's waiting at the entrance. he was waiting outside without his jacket and it was drizzling. poor thing. and then off we went to Tinderbox, a really nice place for a cup of coffee. unfortunately, i m not a coffee fan. i just love hot chocolate. xxx

again, he insisted to pay. we had a nice chat, for 3 hours, having a cup of hot chocolate, and coffee for him with a really nice shimmering cupcake! it was pleasant to see, but taste wasnt that good, my cupcakes are much better! even bam bam said dat! hahaha..

went home after that and start cleaning up the room, kitchen, and bathroom in order not to be fined! hate it! everything was done and dusted! exhausted.......:( then went over and had a movie with bambam. forgotten bout the title of the movie =.='''

dozed off on the couch with bam. and he woke me up after a few hours. head back home and continue zzzz. then off to prestwick airport. here i come germany! good bye glasgow....reached germany quite late, dad and his fren were waiting at the airport. journey from the airport to Mannheim took us about 1 and a half hour. finally, we reached Holiday Inn. zzz

woke up late the next day. dad went to work early in the morning. took a shower, had a great time alone in the room, watching tv. was hungry, so went to starbuck and had a hot chocolate. took a map from the hotel and looked for places to go. walked all alone for the whole day. it was super hot! burning hot! just took a wee stroll around for 2 hours, and i quickly head back to the hotel and showered. took a nap. dad came back and went out for dinner with dad's colleagues and his boss treated us a nice meal in a Istanbul restaurant..

adrenaline.....released from your body, adrenal glands when danger threatens or in an emergency! this explains the condition I'm in right now! arrgghhh..... i bet i will have extreme adrenaline rush when it comes to 5th of May :(

really stressed out with studies, started feeling nervous! less than 2 weeks and we will be sitting in the exam hall, praying hard "Almighty God, please give the strength and help me in recalling all the things that I've studied.Amen." nonetheless, praying for an easy paper,altho dats impossible. :S

it's my last day of work
plan to stop working till June
hopefully my pocket money can last :S
it's so quiet today, not many customers but till later in the evening, it was quite packed
a group of tour from China came, 54 people
but they never ordered any drinks so i m way too free in the afternoon

broke a glass, actually smashed a glass!

i have no idea how it happens, all dat i remembered is i broke the glass when i took out the glasses from the glasswasher and arranged it on the mat
it just went *piang!*
tiny bits of glasses flew everywhere right in front of me
and i had a really fast reflex, pulling my hands away

even my manager got a wee cut on his finger
tissues full of blood
my manager quickly put on plasters on my hand

and i almost broke a wine glass again phew! jo saved me :D

it's sunday! relieved after handing up all the assignments! no more thesis or dissertation in my life! had badminton in the afternoon from 2 to 4pm with debbie, maine n puiyen..the game wasnt so stressful and tiring compared to the previous games we had last few weeks.

went back home after the game and had a nice hot shower! fresh awake again. packed my stuff, dressed up, and get ready to head off to Glasgow Queen Street Station. met diana's gang as they were going to Wagamama to have their lunch.

it was quite exciting yet nervous as this is the first time im travelling alone within UK. it's different from wad i always did in Malaysia. taking plane alone from kl to bintulu isnt a big deal. checked the platform that i need to board, to Edinburgh at 6.30pm. Unfortunately there's no direct train down to sunderland, thus i need to get off from Edinburgh to Newcastle, and hopped onto a metro down to Sunderland. did a wee revision and had my sandwiches while im on the way to Newcastle. fell asleep after reading my notes. =.='' dats common.

reached Newcastle, went around to look for metro. give ronald a call as i arrived at Sunderland. he came over to pick me up. went over to his place and get a rest for a wee while. met 2 hongkies, ah ray & jun bao, ronald's housemates and a girl named kelly, a malaysian girl staying together with them. ronald suggested to go over to his fren's house, which was quite near to jac's place. drove over and chit chat, played the cube, taught by a guy, which i've forgotten his name. the only name dat i can remember is alex. :D so sorry, too many names to remember at the moment, brain can hardly remember anything after the tiring journey all the way from Glasgow.

it's 12am!! OMG!! this is going to be a real fun! jac baby din know im in sunderland. this wil rock her bday! :D prepared the muffins with candles, and sneaked into jac's flat. saw kitsiang, and he was shocked as well! i can stil remember his expression. :P ronald went over with me, thanks to ronald, cuz he is the one who helped me in making the surprise a successful one. GAMSAHABNIDA!! we stood right in front of jac's room No. 198, ronald was holding the muffins while im hiding in the toilet just right beside her room. *knock knock* *knock knock*

here goes, jac opened the door, and she was surprised to see ronald holding the muffins with 2 cute wee ducklings' candles. i can only remember she said "OMG! so cute!" and i walked out slowly from the toilet, and she was completely stunned! she was like "OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! RENA ANG! OMG OMG! RENA! y r u here! OMG OMG!" haha, dat was really funny, the most important thing dat i've forgotten to do is taking a video of it. I was so happy, dat i've finally see my best fren in sunderland. see jac, i've promised u to give u "ME" on ur bday.:D

all her frens came up and wished her, bringing along presents for her. her face was filled up with joy! gave her a Lancome facial set. Hope she will like it, altho she is more into Chanel right now :D we had a wee chat and i went over to stay at Ronald's place dat night cuz ronald is leaving for london and paris on the next morning at 7.30am. he left me his key, so i can just stay or leave whenever i wan. he got up at 5.30am for DOTA! CRAZY fella.

woke up at 11++ the next morning, prepared to go out with babe jac, she came over and off we go to Newcastle. had brunch @ St. Sushi, having sushi and white wine. thanks jac for the meal! muax. walked around, doing wad we wanna do, it was so relaxing! nice, cool weather. saw anabelle and her sister too! dat was a coincidence. after dat, looked for kitsiang, he went for a dye and a wee cut in a saloon. handsome young man! jay chou wannabe ** :D the girl u r aftering for will be very blessed! good luck kit siang! :P

then 3 of us went over to dragon-i, a chinese restaurant, get a room for dinner accompanied with karaoke. me n darling jac entertained ourselves first singing english songs. kitsiang went over to the train station to meet up Amy and bring her over. then jac's frens came over as well, WenFei, JebHwa, SVen and collin. singing, drinking, eating, havin lotsa fun!
wanted to give another surprise for jac, however, the restaurant did not sell any cakes, but they have desserts! a tiny weeny dessert, enough for everybody to have a weee bite. bought the dessert and gave jac a surprise!

overjoyed as she made a wish, and blew off the candle. fed everybody a spoonful of the delicious tiramisu dessert. we played games, trying to get ourselves entertained. we finished off with the final song, which i've forgotten the title of the song. a chinese song of course. went back to Alice Street, ROnald's place to get my luggage back to jac's place. left my luggage at jac's place and we head off to Union! YAY! clubbing. long queue with uneducated, uncivilised ppl, cutting the queue by joining their friends.

we had a few drinks, dancing about, eyeing on handsome cute asian guys but to our sorrow, there wasnt any handsome guys! pathetic! but who cares, dat doesnt seem to affect our mood. the most depressing thing is, the songs! GOSH! it was way too dreadful! damn. "potong stim"

went back home at 3am, and poor jac had to cook for 3 of us, collin, kitsiang n me, cuz we were hungry. and we called the day off, cancelling our drinking session and get to bed early. a great night out. zzzz

the next morning, we woke up early and had McD for breakfast. moved on to winter garden @ st peter's, a really nice place. took lotsa pictures, feeding the birds and ducks! had a stroll around enjoying the cool breeze air, bright sunshine shinning upon us with our newly bought sunglasses on from John Lewis. so peaceful, everything is so calm n soothing, looking at couples dating *envious*, kids running around, playing football, adults sitting on the grass munching their packed food.
after dat, we head back to sunderland, homed. took a rest, kitsiang came over n looked for us. we were hungry so we decided to make pancakes. guess wad, because of the pancakes, i almost missed my train back to edinburgh. haha! dat was really gancheong. and we've actually planned wad to do for the rest of the day cuz we thought the train most probably will leave when i reached Newcastle. but who knows! i reached there in time, quickly hopped onto the train and give a great big hug to darling and kitsiang. bye guys! gonna miss u guys heaps! thanks for everything!muaxxx..

took a seat and off to Edinburgh, goodbye sunderland! sobsob. starting to miss them, looked at pictures in my wee camera, was smiling at myself while looking at them. had lotsa fun! saw Yau from IMU medic batch, meiann's classmate.

get down to edinburgh and rushed for a train down to glasgow. WTH! i took the wrong train back. shit shit! and i have to turn back to another station in order to get a train back to glasgow. i was so panic! trying to stay calm. called kitsiang n jac. debbie called and checked the available train back, luckily there's a connecting train back, waited for 15 minutes. phew!! relieved.

oops, this blog has been so outdated! was doing essay, and got distracted by fb..

arggh, this is pissing me off! i hate essay writing to the max! one after another.. research project, CPP essay, pharmcare essay, research project again.. then to finals.. although we r not having any lecture now, but still, felt like time flies really fast! maybe we r just too lazy and get things done reli slow. because we r all on holiday mood! no lectures at all, maybe once or twice a week. im so gonna miss lecture! our last lecture will be on friday, sobsob, im preparing myself to get emotional. bammbamm needs to prepare a box of tissue for me.:P cant imagine, we r goin to graduate soon, and everybody will be living on their on lives, no more going to lectures together, no more having breakfast, lunch or dinner together, cooking n baking! :(

Nanakusa, jap restaurant, nice environment, food was ok, not bad but i think i prefer Kokuryo. went for a nice dinner with my H12 housemates, it's been quite a while dat we've not been having a nice good dinner together, cuz everybody is always busy working, or out. and ya, today we had dinner in this jap rest. Nanakusa 1 year anniversary, so they have a promotion, 15 pounds for a bento set and unlimited jappo, sake, etc. the sake wasnt nice tho. korean beer is nicer.:)

justin and lieo jiun's gang were there as well. oh, i get to see shawn working, in his kimono, cool! chit chatting, drinking, met a girl working in CBK Bath Street. sat with us and had a chat for a while and she made a move.

went to Loon Fung at 11pm to celebrate my manager's bday. i had to pay 30 pounds to share for his pressie. they bought him a mini laptop. nice wan! and the dinner was on the big boss. gave the manager a surprise and he was totally shocked. balloons all over with a bday cake for him placed on the table. sang a bday song and he blew the candles off. he looked so happy when he opened up the present. but i was stuffed and i couldnt eat much, just ate a few pieces of veges and squids. made a move at 1am. walked to george square, sat there, enjoyin the nice scenery and head back home.

im so lazy to remove my make up, gosh! have introduction to do again, sigh.. but im happy, not depressed and frustrated anymore, thanks to my dearest mr macho guy.

sigh, have been working so much these few days. frustrated over things, and i just couldnt believe wad i saw yesterday. it was like a disaster to me. why m i always in such a situation. depressed! hmm, i always tell myself to be strong and im always a strong independent girl who doesnt need anybody to be right beside me, where i can just settle everything by myself, having problems to be shared with my mum, not bf, spending life being unattached! (but i dun think i can do it). sobsob.

Oh God, please guide me. i really wish i could just turn back time, to where we were supposed to be. if i have a wish right now, dat wish will be turning back to december 2007 or 28th May 2006. where everything began from there.

my depression is killing me. i need antidepressant now!

thinking bout my introduction, which i have not started a single word yet, my presentation, class test, work.. awww.. it's just too much! i need a break! self-declared holiday for me..

- it's FRIDAY (but it makes no difference, have to work tmr and sunday:((( )

- went to class from 9 till 11am (woke up at 845am! late for class)

- played badminton from 11 till 12pm

- had tomyam noodles for lunch

- talked to mum, then had a short nap

- met shyan n hongning at royal college, they went swimming

- walked to argyle street and started to shop

- bought a notebook, which i really wanted to since last 2 weeks (it cost me 7pounds!=RM42?) OMG! i have to really study hard and do more notes

- bought a FCUK T-shirt for BG for his bday

- got a nice knit wear from DP (20% sales on every item)

- met him in tesco

- the christmas market is on! along argyle street! I LOVE CHRISTMAS! stalls selling candies, chocs, all sorts of winter wear, gloves, colourful hats, etc. and the delicious gigantic sausages!! OMG! it was so nice! u guys should try it.. 2.50pounds each..

- bought some candies..

- walked to george square and sat there for a while, freaking cold... looking at couples dating, parents bringing their kids there, taking pictures, asking their kids to give their best smiles... awww...

- walked back home, saw his frens "Liza, Riza, and another gal, i cant remember her name"

- came back, had dinner, thanks gals for the dinner...

- lazed around, writing this blog, have not bath yet.. was so lazy! eating my sweets..

- now i think i have to shower, it's 9.30pm! tata! :P

f*ck! it's 12pm! i couldnt believe it when i looked at my hp. 12PM?!!? shit. looked at my watch, and it's really 12pm. oh gosh! i'm so gonna be late for work. work at 1pm. brushed my teeth, packed the cheese cake into a container and changed. by the time i get out of JBC was already 1240pm. i dun think i can make it, so i called my manager and asked whether i can work a bit later, and he said yes. fuh, relieved. so it's stil quite early and went to pound mart to look around. it was so big, and there's a lot of christmas decos and cards.

then went to work, as usual, not many customers in the afternoon. but i was way too tired, i just couldnt stop yawning. and actually i have to work til 8pm but tonight we r having pot luck for munwai's bday, they started at 630pm. i asked the manager to let me go earlier at 7pm. luckily he agreed. he came over and walked me back home. thanks! so sweet of u. in return, gave him the cheese cake. and he walked all the way back home again. oops:)

shyan left a big plate of food, i was stunned! omG, is this all for me? too much! cabonara, fried spagetti, chicken wings, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, sausage, and cheese cake made by jac. thumbs up for the cheese cake. too much cakes these few days. fattening. have no idea how m i goin to cut down on my weight. too much delicious food around.:(

ron called and asked me whether i wanna go barcelona or not in january. stil thinking bout it..hmmm..

friday, saturday, sunday, weekend, ended up with working working working and working..

how can tis happen!! it was supposed to be fun when it comes to weekend.. everybody wil be so excited, planning for trips, or a day out on the weekends.. unfortunately, i have to work on sat, sun and monday. sobsob.

yesterday (saturday), worked from 2.30pm till 10pm. skipped lunch and went to work, was shivering throughout the work cuz was hungry and tired. non stop looking at my watch and the clock in the bar, tick.... tock.... tick.... tock.... time passes extremely slow!! arrggghh!!

finalllyyy.. it's 10pm!!! yay!! didnt eat, changed straight away and waited him outside CBK. he came and actually wanted to have dinner together but most of the kitchens were closed so we decided to have a drink somewhere. and chit chat the whole nite bout our primary and high sch's life. i miss my college life!! and i have less than a year to go.. i dun wan to stop studying (with no exams of course) haha!! i dont wan to end my uni life. i cant imagine myself starting to work and earn money by myself.

then he walked me back to JBC. before goin home, we sat outside of the architecture building and enjoying the freezing cool breeze air under the blue moon light. in our imaginary world. :P i dared him to take off his coat and i'll take off mine and walk around! haha it was fun altho both of us were shivering and freezing.

went back home, get a rest and the next morning went to Long Fung for dimsum. went straight to work after dat. thanks for the breakfast mr old macho guy.:P worked till 9.30pm and head back home. was bloody tired, and i promised to make him japanese cotton cheese cake. when i reached home, found out that there wasnt any cheese left, shyan and hongning used up all the cheese for their oreo cheese cake. so hongning brought me to tesco express, which is not far away, bought cheese and lemon.

started to bake the cake all by myself. the finale, the cake was not as nice as the first time i did it. but still considered ok. did not add in enuf cheese. cut up a piece and gave some to debbie's gang. had a bday surprise for munwai. wanna make it special and different from others, so we gave her a surprise slightly later, at 1215pm. cake was prepared with candles lighted up and we all gathered in front of her room. i played the birthday song with a guitar. but it was too soft i guess. yogurt bday cake, yumyum.

after settling everything, went to shower. it was 2am and i was totally stoned, msged him, and he was stoned as well.:P went to bed by 3am.

happy bday voon jia!

discussed with vyen, whether to join them for karbon. hesitated cuz was quite tiring after the party last nite. but only 4 of them goin, so finally decided to join them, cuz it's a bit dangerous to go in a small group and no guys to protect us. :)

it was so packed! we were squashed by the crowd, as usual, we malaysians are too "small", the kwai lous are too "big", unable to beat them. a guy came up and talked to me, asking where i study, m i here for holiday, bla bla bla. a quite good looking guy, named Chris. we danced all nite! woo hoo... the music dat nite was fantastic! all the songs played by the DJ were my favourite songs!

vyen said there were guys kept following us all nite. but i think dats common if u club. the most important thing is be careful, if there's a guy approaching u, trying to grab u or wadever, just let go and STARE at them. i used to do dat. they will got freaked out and they wont disturb u any more. clubbing experiences.:P

there's another guy asking for my number, and i felt i was very fake, i told him, sorry, i dun have a handphone, haha! i laughed at myself after dat. i shud have just said i forgot wad's my number and my phone wasnt with me.

but i did enjoyed myself dat nite. and we went back home at 3++. called him and he was sleeping cuz he was way to blur, he can barely stand, was heighten by his favourite roll.

went home, slept at 4++ again, class at 9am the next day.

went to class half dead! was so sleepy, can hardly open my eyes and brain to listen to every word the lecturer was trying to deliver. came back home after class and i went to bed from 1pm til 5pm.:)

it's weds nite, and we've decided to dine in Korkuyo to give Voon Jia a bday surprise. the restaurant was so far, and yet we couldnt grab any cab dat time. pissed off, it's so easy to get a cab back in kl, but here, it's like waiting for the rain in the dessert. haha, not dat bad lar, but stil, it sucks!

chiyuan was trying his very best to delay voonjia's time, they went shopping. and luckily we reached earlier! fuhh.. and when she saw us, she was shocked, but she suspected something in the very beginning.. mayb chi yuan's acting wasnt dat good:P surprise is always meant to be suspected and i think it's better to pretend dat we dunno anything bout it. :)

took our order, and the 4 of us, vyen, shyan n hongning ordered 4 person's sushi, and 2 main dishes. maneater! i think the 4 of us ate the most! we were stuffed! bloated.. the sushi was awesome!! perfecto!! i dun mind paying such an expensive meal cuz the food was worth it. thumbs up! it's worth trying the food there, go check it out guys!

after the dinner, went to Glasgow Student Union with lj while the rest took cabs back home. met Marc, Antonio, Vman. hang out for a while then i went back to JBC to get Sue, she's waiting at home. justin and lj went over to jac's place and joined them for a game. he lost and he needs to lie on the floor with his butt facing up, all the guys sat on him so he cant escape. they placed a few pieces of crackers and asked the bday girl to eat them without using her hands. it was funny!!sorry i cant save u!:)

took a cab to bamboo and we were late, it's after 12, and we had to pay 4 pounds each for the entrance fee. yay! ready to party?? YES!! say YES more often = by lj. we partied whole nite and it was so crowded, and bloody hot. Sree and the rest were there as well. surprisingly, sree can dance and i din know he is one of the party animal too!:P sorry sree. :)

went back home at 2something. lj and sree came over to JBC and have a look at our dorms. chat til 3++ and they made a move. arrgh, im so lazy to remove my make up. sat in front of my laptop and replying msgs.

it gets dark so early nowadays! umm, by 5pm its like 8pm d.

oh, we get to see fireworks today. news spreading around saying there wil be fireworks in glasgow green tonite and it's free! some of us had workshop till 5pm then we had our dinner and quickly rushed to glasgow green cuz we were so kiasu, but when we were there, there were lotsa ppl d. there were stalls selling food, yen, chia hong n jac bought things to eat. vyen bought some wedges.

walked around. there was a funfair too! then by 730pm, we heard the countdown, 3....2.....1.....fireworks started to fill up the sky with all sorts of colours and designs.they were so nice! and the fireworks last for bout 20 minutes. me and jac were taking videos til our hand and neck ache..

after the fireworks, we went to Social bar and had a drink. then went back home n rest...

back from manchester, exhausted and get some rest in the afternoon.. then all of us start to shower and get ready for the nite. our pre celebration for Halloween in Kushion, Bath Street. i bought a black tube dress from Internacionale, and i just thought of wearing dat, but vyen said everybody is dressing up!! oh no, i have no idea wad to be, and we dun have time to walk all the way to argyle to buy costume. so we walked to co-orp and look for some accessories. managed to buy a hair band with some bouncing pumpkin freaky head. shyan and hongning bought witch hats.

and off we go, to Kushion, 4 of us walked there, with my 4-inches high heels, my legs started to ache and i kept exchanging my heels with hongning and shyan until we reached Kushion. everybody dressed up in different sorts of characters including pirates, bunny, mafia, joker, sweeney todd, policewoman, devil, angels etc. cameras all around, ppl taking pictures, drinking and chilling out.

we went back home at 1130pm by cab, but we stopped at Buchanan Kebab for supper, then we walked back home. wad a tiring day!! superbly exhausted.. the worst thing was my make up, need to remove all the make up makes me so sien..

according to vyen, im such a lazy blogger, never update my blog till today. missed out a lot of things d, so i will just blog about my manchester trip. this lazy bum is bz practising her guitar everyday, learning how to play Raindrops Falling On My Head. finished learning More Than Words d!! muahaha.. damn happy but of course, i need more practice, as practice makes perfect!!

ok, let me begin with my trip to manchester. MANCHESTER!! here i come!!

suvyen and yen went earlier on fri, and deb's gang went earlier too, on sat morning, so they reached there 2 hours earlier than us.. 3 of us took a bus from buchanan bus station and the journey took us 5 hours, and we did stopped for a while at Preston. Hongning had travel sickness, she went to toilet for 4 times? if im not mistaken. I think she needs hyoscine hydrobromide to prevent her from getting travel sickness for the Nottingham trip.

we reached Manchester around 1pm, and we walked to TaiWu, a chinese restaurant to meet up with debbie and her gang and have our lunch there.. DIMSUM!! yay!! it was raining the whole day, and we were so wet, and it really spoil our mood!! after dimsum, we went to Arndale, city centre to do some shopping..

we met up ngie chang, an old fren from bintulu, shyan and diana's exclassmate. then we met up with shawpei, vyen and yen and have our dinner in a chinese restaurant, we ordered veges, and after tiring walking the whole day under the rain, we decided to head back to our hostel and get a rest, but diana and liven insisted to go Pure, a club. at first, only 2 of them semangat to go, cuz hongning was not feeling well, and shyan wans to accompany her, jw oso din wan to go. liven and diana wanna meet puiyen and kian yi and the club. then, suddenly, everybody decided to go together, including hongning and shyan. the club was so-so, and we went to RnB room at 12am, and i can tell u, the songs played in the club werent as good as those in kl. sobsob.

the next day, we went to shaw pei's place and put our bags over there and rushed to trafford. went for the MU tour, and we get to take a lot of pics, and i must watch a MU football match!! me & shyan already promise to watch a football match in MU, we shall wait!! right shyan.. :P bought some souvenirs. then debbie's gang went to trafford to shop, but the 3 of us took a bus down to city centre to meet up vyen them, and we all went for dimsum again in Pacific! it was delicious! fantabulous! altho the price is a lil bit more ex, but it's worth it! much better than Taiwu..
then walked around and then went to hard Rock cafe to have our dinner, and to celebrate shaw pei's bday in advanced. had fun with all of them, and i bought souvenirs from there, 2 badge pins cost me 17pounds.. im starting to collect the pins from all the hard rock cafes all around the world. the sales guy was very good, he gave me one of his pin!! thanks!! MUAKS!! the pin i chose from him, was from San Domingo.
after dinner, met up deb again and then we went back to shaw pei's room and rest for a while, took 5am train back to glasgow. wad a tiring day. we were so tired, we cant barely walk anymore and we took a cab back to Rottenrow East.

went to queen street station to buy RailCard, which cost me 24 pounds, in order to get 1/3 discount on any train tickets within UK.

walked under the rain, it's so windy! freezzziinngg.

went to tesco metro to buy some veges. saw one of our batchmate, a home student.

walked to poundland to buy cereal bars.

off to Aldi, before dat, bought lozenges for suvyen n shyan. both of them are sick. get well soon girls!:)

heavy heavy heavy. went home. heat up dinner. talked to pat.

told him nobody accompany me for dinner cuz shyan sleeping, sv not home yet, hn in the bathroom.

"so energetic!" dat's wad pat said bout me.. attending classes, went cyclofit classes, swimming when i have longer lunch break, then working part time.. but i enjoyed myself, and im making full use of my time here in glasgow.. it's only a year here, so i have to enjoy myself to the max.. but part of it is also because of my weight, i gained weight, so i have to do a lot of exercise to burn all my fats! :P

attending classes, sometimes it's quite free, sometimes the lecture is just too lengthy and boring and i fell asleep in class especially on thursday and friday.. today, went to class from 9 till 11am, then went swimming till 1230pm, have a quick simple lunch then went to class again from 2 till 5pm then rush to work from 5pm till 10pm.. had dinner then came back home around 11pm.. i think im like a superwoman.. my timetable is always full with activites.. next week gonna go Manchester for 3 days.. so most of my salary is for my trips.. sobsob..

it's wednesday, and we all went out shopping, as i got my salary d from my 6 days of hard work.. total of XXX.XX pounds.. im not telling u guys, cuz my pay is very low, but im satisfied cuz i got extra tips! thanks to the manager, all of them treat me so well.. and i get to work in the bar!! doing all sorts of drinks, including soft drinks, liquors, wine, etc.. enjoyed it altho my pay is low.. so, went shopping and i spent around 70 pounds! excluding dinner wei.. shit.. bought Lancome liquid foundation and make up remover cuz they have this promotion where u buy any 2 products, u wil get a bag of free gifts which cost 47 pounds, so without hesitating, all of us start choosing stuff to buy.. hongning n shyan bought mascara.. i have 2 Lancome mascara, so not goin to buy mascara anymore.. so i chose something else instead of mascara.. but i strongly recommend u girls out there to use Lancome Mascara, it's easy to use and u wil see the effect in just 1 minutes, i mean it wil makes ur lashes curl and thick!! usually i apply my mascara damn fast, even 5 minutes before goin to class, i managed to put on my mascara.. :) bought my boots, and a Gap kids jacket..

3 of us damn tired and planning to find a place to eat, lazy to go home and cook, so we called suvyen to meet us up at george square.. went to Junction Bar, recommended by suvyen.. the food is nice, and 3 of us treat shyan cuz 3 of us working but she's not.. she felt like it's her bday today.. hahhaa.. while we were eating, there were 2 black guys sitting next to us, kept looking at us eating, i have no idea wad r they lookin at.. so after we finished our food, we quickly cabut!

reached home and looked at all my stuff, sweat wei, im broke! half of my salary gone, some more paid for the gym membership fee which cost me 35 pounds! i think i have to get a second job.. :( not gonna ask money from my parents.. felt so guilty! no more shopping for me for the next 2 weeks..

went out to celebrate our victory! everyone of us passed our sem 6.. relieved! i know it is a bit too late to blog bout tis, but still, happy for it.. for all of us! cheers!!:) so we decided to dine in Yates, recommended by Deb and Puiyen... not bad not bad.. the food wasnt dat ex, and it's nice.. thanks for the recommendation.. :P one thing bout this is, we forgotten to take the pics of the food we ordered.. we were too hungry and we never thought of taking pictures with our food first.. sweat! =.=''

it's been quite a while i didnt update my blog ever since the last blog dat i've posted, dat was almost a month ago. quite busy nowadays, apart from dat, honestly, im lazy! dat explains everything. =P anyway, tis Italy trip of mine, enjoyed it very much, altho it was quite tiring. 9 days of travelling, rushing here and there, to get to all of places dat we've planned to go. yea, we did went to all the places dat are in the schedule. fuh, relieved.

let me tell u wad we did in our journey, starting from glasgow airport, where we are goin to depart for Milan airport. our flight is around 5 something in the evening, and we walked to the train station to grab a train to the airport. so off we go, flying off to Milan. by the time we reached Milan, it was already 10something at night, and in order to get the cheapest train down to Rome, we waited in Milan airport until 4++ in the morning, and took a bus to Milan Centrale to hop onto the cheapest train. we suffered, like beggars in Milan airport. there's no chair for us to sit, so we need to sit on the floor. and we used our backpack as our pillows. of course, we cant sleep, imagine sleeping on the floor, in the middle of no where, with all the strangers looking at us when they walked pass us. dat very moment, i missed JBC Block H12-4, my comfy lil bed. sobsob. we met yieng and her bf there, and she joined us. we played cards to kill our time.

then finally, it's time to get onto the bus to the train station. it took us around 30 mins to reach the train station. there was no seats number on our tickets, so we just simply choose a cabin and 3 of us, shyan me and hongning, took a 6seats' cabin, while deb's gang was next to ours. so we slept all the way to Rome. checked in in Casa Olmata, and the very first moment when i saw casa olmata, i started to feel uneasy. "OMG, this is the place dat we r goin to stay for 4 nights?" a very old, cacated place. but actually it wasnt dat bad tho, cuz we have free breakfast every morning, and we can drink unlimited hot drinks. drank chocolatto all the time. and we did payed 2 pounds for dinner, prepared by casa olmata, it's called spagetti party. they served few kinds of spagettis. not bad.

we went to Spanish Steps, Via Condotti, where i bought my Gucci purse there, there's LV, PRada, Dior, Burberry, OMG!! i cant wait to earn my own money and shop at this kind of places. we went to Navona, Trevi Fountain, Colleseum, Roman Forum, Palantine, St Pietre, and some other places which i've forgotten the names. we had lotsa ice creams, Gelati. i think i had 5 times of ice creams. pistacchio is the best among all. fragola is nice too. oh ya, we went to Rome Hard Rock Cafe too. it costs us 12.50euro each. bought some souvenirs, and i asked for 2 free gifts from them, but i gave one to deb and another one to hongning.

after Rome, we went to Florence and spent a nite there. the place we stayed was horrible! and it's like a haunted house. we went to Vatican city, leaning tower of Pisa. not many places to go in florence. after dat we went to Venice. a very romantic place. sat the gondola for 15 euro each, water bus, etc. bought some murano stuff. get a free murano earrings "libre" which means FOC in italian, from a murano shop, cuz the salesmen there are all very hamsap. we stayed in camping serinissima, the best place among all the other hostels. spent 2 nights in Venice, and the last nite in Milan. the last 2nd day in Milan, we received sms, saying results just came out! shit, everybody was bloody nervous, but we were trying to tell ourselves not to think bout it. enjoy to the max first.

overall, we enjoyed ourselves, and we came back in a piece, we din lose anything.

reached glasgow, reached JBC, suvyen passed everything. i was damn nervous, i din wanna check my results, thought of taking a shower, unpack my stuff, then only check. who knows, debbie's gang, hongning and ikshyan were so nervous, they started to go online and check. sigh. i got a very bad feeling. but finally, they asked me to check, so i get myself prepared and i saw "PASS" for all the subjects! i couldnt believe it! i passed PP3! and FMT 2! and luckily i got above 50 for my CMA. relieved wei!

in order to celebrate our success, the whole H12 passed the exams, we went to Yates and had dinner.

now, and then i realized dat earning money isnt dat easy. pity my parents who earn so much money to support me, and my brothers' studies. for the one studying in glasgow now, dat's me, one studying medic in ukraine, my eldest bro and the one studying engineering in kuching, swinburne uni, my youngest bro. had spent so much ever since i placed my foot in this newly fresh, and expensive place, GLASGOW. everything is in pounds, yeah duh~~ =.='' if u are earning pounds, then dat would be very cheap. but if u convert everything from pounds to RINGGIT MALAYSIA, it is very very ex!! sam tong ar... but dat's irresistable, when i go out for shopping, i cant stop myself from buying stuff. it's a girl's thing tho, the word "shopping" cannot be removed from a girl's life's dictionary. m i right? absolutely right! but certain girls can control their budget very well, unlike me. i admit it. :(

but im starting to set a budget for myself, im trying hard, seriously! *grin*

had beed looking for part time jobs here, and did went for 2 trials, both were in chinese buffet restaurant. for the first trial, it was only 2hours trial. it wasnt so bad tho. but the workers there werent so friendly, which makes me feel like im totally a stranger to them. they dun even come up to me and make friends with me. sad! wad can i say, discrimination? some of the scottish here were very friendly, but some not. once they look at us, chinese, they wil always think dat we are from china. irritated! the jobs are quite easy, walking around and collect plates, taking drinks' orders, wipe the table. the manager was quite alrite, offered me to da pao some food home, but i refused, cuz i felt very paiseh. altho i din get paid, but i enjoyed.

the 2nd trial was in another chinese buffet restaurant, which is located very near to the first wan. received a call, and i was asked to go for a trial. im having my nap when i received dat call, so i was a bit blur, and never listen attentively to wad the person was saying. plus she was talking to me in mandarin, with those china accent. so i just say yes yes yes yes. i thought she asked me to bring along my friends to go for the trial. but it was only me. sorry shyan n hongning, they walked all the way there with me, but they ended up having their dinner in lauders, but im working like mad cow in the restaurant from 5pm till 10pm. firstly, the assistant, a pretty young lady named Cherry, she assigned me to wipe all the plates and bowls. i wiped all the plates and bowls till my hands ached! cuz i have to be fast. there will always have plates and bowls for me to wipe. so i cant stop wiping. there were some other workers, Jennifer and Yo yo. they were very friendly. and guess wad, the girl called Jennifer, she's only 18 years old. OMG. and she is damn pro in collecting 6 plates at once.

finally, Cherry asked me to learn how to serve drinks, collect plates, wipe the tables. guess wad, i managed to carry 6 plates at once too! yay.. proud of myself. :P the plates were so heavy, but i tried to be extremely careful. i met a customer, an old fat lady with her husband. she suddenly walked to me and talked to me.

customer : how did u maintain ur body with all these nice food around u?

me : (smiling) hmm, do more exercise? (i think im very fat now! but to her, im thin. sweat! maybe she is comparing her size and mine. hehe)

customer : no, i think u've been working very hard, dats y.

me : =.='' hmm, this is my part time job, and this is my first day tho.

customer : oh, so, u're still studying?

me : yes. im studyin pharmacy in the university of strathclyde.

customer : wow, dat's great. which year are u in?

me : 3rd year. (considered 4th year, but i dun dare to say dat im in 4th year, cuz i scared she might ask me about medicines)

customer : dat's great!

me : hehe, yea, hmm. anyway, do enjoy ur meal. (walked off)

when i collected her plates, i did talked to her again.

me : so, do u like chinese food?

customer : yes. but i cant stuff anymore into my tummy. can u cook, exactly like the food here?

me : no, im not good in cooking. :)

and she just smiled and she said she really likes chinese food. her husband never stop eating, and her husband has a very round big tummy. i was happy working in the place, altho the working hours were pretty long. she gave tips as well when she left. :) i was so happy. altho i din get to keep the tips, but stil, im happy.

the manager asked me to have my dinner before goin home. but i ate a lil bit only cuz shyan and hongning came to accompany me home. thanks girls! muaks! they purposely walked all the way there to pick me up. i was exhausted, my hands numbed and i cant barely walk properly home. too tired!

came back home and took a hot shower, felt much better! waiting for their call again for the next job. i wan to earn lots of money to buy presents for my parents and not to forget my brothers too. :)

starved for the whole morning, cuz wan to leave our stomach 100% empty for our chinese buffet lunch. *grin* yummy. the food was nice, but i was stuffed after the only first round. ate lotsa fruits especially honeydew, and icecream. the waitress there were all chinese. "orang sendiri". hehe. and we were entitled to get 10% student discount. so, it cost around 5.85 pounds per person excluding drinks. they wil serve u plain water for free, if u din order any other drinks. satisfied with our meal but we discovered dat "China buffet" is much better! darn! and it's along the same street. we shud have go there, cuz there were more variety of food and desserts. and yet it's the same price! our next food destination will be china buffet!

summer, ending real soon, and yet we didnt have our summer bbq.. until today. finally. but it's sort of a picnic, cuz we were lazy, and we just dumped everything into the oven and grilled the chicken wings. so the food dat we've prepared were curry puffs (shyan & suvyen's recipe), salad vege, chicken wings, grilled veges, chicken nuggets and toast. we cut down a lot of food, cuz do not wan to keep those left overs, and we were trying to cut down cuz we all gained weight! sei.. it was freezing, we drank our shandy, but there's no effect at all. actually we were wearing shorts, then we couldnt bare with the coldness anymore, so we went up and changed our pants and grabbed a jacket.. enjoyed singing, playing and kacauing each other. managed to take a video of shyan singing. "orang melayu" having chicken wing = shyan. hehehe..i promised her not to put the video up.. too bad..!:)

i did my very best, but still, no confidence at all that i will pass this bloody final pp3 exam. although it was not very difficult, but all the accumulation of the small lil stupid mistakes make u fail! and i dunno y, i knew dat dose check wasnt suppose to be dat figure, but i still write it down onto my piece of paper, y m i so stubborn! 30 marks gone! just like dat. sigh. and all the stupid mistakes like never write expiry dates. how wei! i dun wan to sit for another PP3 exam. i think i have this pp3 phobia! i just hope dat the lecturer will not be so strict, and they will just let us pass.....................

11 hours to go, our PP3 final exam...stress and nervous to the max wei!!!

woke up quite early this morning, it's very unusual for me, as suvyen got shocked when she saw me early in the morning, altho it's not dat early. i slept around 12something last nite, dats y i managed to wake up so early. normally i burn the midnite oil, but not studyin, doin other stuff. :P had maggi goreng, my first attempt, successful but the taste wasnt like the one i had in mamak. "obviously".. =.='' haha, anyway, lazed around the whole day, din study much cuz dunno wad else to study.

took a short nap in the afternoon and then prepared dinner, our new lamb recipe from my mummy. it was good! :) tried calling pat to wish him happy bday, but i guess he was too bz and din answer the phone. then my lovely housemate, who got exempted, prepared something very special for us. *touched* thanks Shyan!! love ya!! she hide in the kitchen and she asked me not to see.. haha, like a thief! sesat, but thanks!! i need all ur luck now, will try our best tmr.. then we shall have fun after all the stressful days...

after knowing the pre-exemption results, which i din get exempted, sobsob=( , but i did get myself prepared for it, we went to metro to buy some batons to prepare garlic bread for our summer bbq later in the evening. bought 4 super long batons and went back home, started to cut the garlic and spread with butter onto the batons. garlic smelL! yuck!

bbq started at 5pm, guys were setting up the bbq pit and the fire. it took such a long time. and the girls were playing volleyball, including me. (of course lar, im a girl also wad) haha. then some of us were hungry, and started to grab something to eat. there were lotsa yummy delicious food including our garlic bread, potato salad prepared by diana's house, fried rice by puiyen's house, fried spagetti ( which is damn nice ) prepared by benjern's house, jemput-jemput with extra spicy sauce by shazwan (managed to get the recipe) =), chicken wings, beef, salmon prepared by the rest of the guys, some marshmallows, and drinks.

the first round of bbq-ing was done by the guys, then the 2nd round was done by the girls. me and deb non stop bbq-ing the chicken wings. i guess there were more than 60 wings. some started with all the nicknames. for me, im the "kiap-kiap", while deb is "piak-piak", suvyen is the "chicken wings", shyan is the "honey" and ivy with the "butter" nickname. we had lotsa fun altho it was kinda freezing. it did rained for a while, and we need to move to another place. pissed with the unpredictable rain, and it rained for a while only. sesat!

obviously, we did finished up the food, there were like 30 of us. finished bbq-ing around 9pm, went back home with our whole baju and hair smelly, smokey. whole body aching and was super exhausted. and i felt so guilty cuz i ate a lot. stuffed and bloated! slept quite early. had a great time, the very first time of having a cold, freezing summer bbq........................... brrrr......

finally, it's our video role play exam. as usual, started to get nervous, tension. hongning was the earliest and she came back with lotsa tips. thanks gal. so we started to discuss wad is goin to be asked later.

im having palpitation, heart beats above the normal range. get myself prepared, din have lunch at all, no appetite. went to the dispensary lab quite early, and i was the first one to reach there. saw Ian Miller, and he said Hi. i think he is a very nice guy.

then everyone was there, summarizing all the stuff dat we were supposed to know, and my heart went beating even faster and faster! nervous to the max. and tracy came out and asked the first group to enter, which was my group.

im the second. waited, and i cant even recall all the stuff dat i've read.

suddenly, the door opened, and shazwan walked out. it's my turn! sigh. with no confidence at all, entering the room. and lynne started to brief me. and here it went our conversation :

customer : i have itchy, running nose. and i cant swallow tablets. yeah. dats all.

customer : a week ago.

pharmacist : is this the first time u r having hayfever?

customer : no, i had this every summer.

quickly grab the OTC book and flipped thru searching for "hayfever" and i flipped to the wrong page, shit! couldnt find the suitable medication. looked thru again, and finally i found a syrup, which suits her, as she requested for liquid preparation.

pharmacist : since u r unable to swallow tablets, i will recommend u this medication, which is Clarityn Allergy Syrup, to relief ur sneezing and runny nose due to hayfever. take one 5ml spoonful daily. try to avoid those pollens. yeah.

customer : alright. so can i take this throughout the whole summer?

pharmacist : (shit!!) hmm, yes. u can. (tembak only)

customer : alright thanks!

dunno whether im correct or not. but im done! relieved! went back home and told shyan bout it. heat up my minced beef and potatoes in the microwave oven. after having my late lunch, played some games, talked to mum, and had a short 30minutes' nap.

need to go out for groceries.

had pan fried salmon with vege for dinner prepared by shyan & vyen. after dinner, we made some choco cupcakes and rock buns, for tmr's breakfast. 2nd round of rock buns. it's the easiest recipe yet nice. no doubt. while waiting for the rock buns, we had the choco cupcakes with ice creams, thumbs up! it's damn nice.. delicious.. we lazed around in the common hall, watching tv, having ice creams, feel like it's been a very long time we din have such a relaxing moment with all the crappy exams. altho we r goin to have another exam next monday, but all of us were on holiday mood d. i dun think i wil get exempted tho, so im getting myself prepared.

it's 25 minutes, took out the rock buns. im not satisfied with it. sigh. but it's stil nice lar. haha. then gave some to deb and diana. went over to diana's place and sampat sampat until 10pm. belum mandi! shit.

ma mood wasnt so good today, without any reasons behind, maybe im stressed up with studies. upcoming video role play test, was not very clear bout it and was still on the same sheet of slides ever since this morning. sigh.

jumped off my bed and quickly get myself ready. done by 12pm so off we go to Rumours! yippie! my wah tan hor... ordered 3 set meals, so with 3 starters, 3 main meals and chinese tea. ordered spring rolls, roti canai and satay for starter, wah tan hor, singapore laksa and nasi lemak for the main dishes. and a pot of tea.

the business was so good, lotsa ppl queuing outside. we shared our meals and we ordered strawberry bubble tea when we were about to leave. the bubble tea sucks! it's like "air bandung". not cold at all, i think they just put strawberry powder and mix with water and add the pearls. wasted! but at least we know it doesnt taste nice, so we wont be ordering it next time.

we were stuffed! so full and satisfied with our meals. then we went shopping around, managed to develop some photos. 6 pieces cost 1.14pounds. it's not dat ex, i guess. then bought some ingredients to make my "rock bun". suvyen bought some chocs and other ingredients to make her choco rice balls.

came back home and started doin the choco rice balls and rock buns. my rock buns got burnt, i think it's because of the oven. the temperature is too high, and when i took the tray out, my finger got burnt, shit, it''s so painful! quickly put on toothpaste. But the rock buns were successful!! nice!! haha. gave come to deb's and diana's house.

had video role play this morning, and was so blur, as usual. sold the medication, which is unnecessary. and the lecturer said "your pharmacy earns a fortune". dat's wad pharmacist do wad, selling medicines and earning money, it's up to the pharmacist whether to sell or not right.

i just told mummy, i wish dat i could earn incalculable figures by the time i reach 24 years old. *in your dreams* she said. "unless u find a rich guy and marry him" =P i wish dat tho.. dun have to remind me bout dat, i bet every single girl's dream is to marry a rich, successful, good looking guy, in short, with 5A's , m i right? undeniable, absolutely 100% right. it depends on ur luck, but rich guy doesnt mean dat they are 100% loyal, good, and X playboy.

my irritating alarm on both my hps started to ring, it's 8am with the song "witch doctor" by alvin and the chipmunks. it was on my table, and i have to force myself up of my bed to switch it off. arrgghh. switched on my laptop and talked to pat for a while, then went back to bed again, cant resist it..i need more sleep!! went back to bed and got up around 10am.

prepared pancakes, as i'd promised my housemates. it was nice, with shyan and suvyen doin the deco on the pancakes. shyan, the H12 photographer, started to snap some pictures of the pancakes we did. comments by housemates : NICE! =)

it's 18th of August, got up from my comfy lil bed, and started to revise for my PP3 exemption test. had some waffles with peanut butter and choc spread, with a cup of hot tea. it's time, for me to get ready for my test. went with vyen, chia hong was waiting outside of our block. off we go, to FIGHT FOR IT!!

but it turned out to be horrible, terrible!! i was unable to finish my Rx in time. i was devastated. the last Rx is on diamorphine driver syringe. i was so frustrated, because i couldnt find any strength of the ampoules that match to my MST strength. sigh! i was so depressed. and i ended up just scribbled on the dose check and dispensed the medication, which i dunno whether it is right or wrong. and i handed up my late entry correction, but "she" just threw it away into the bin in front of me!! WTF!! there were few minutes left, and she said "times UP". i was almost in tears, i feel like punching her at dat very moment. who is she, and what makes her so "da pai" like a boss, and everybody needs to listen to her. izzit because of her size? big hips like hippo!

came back home, without a word with my housemates. then they were asking bout the Rx that we did, i told them bout mine, and i couldnt bear with it, tears started to fill up my eyes, and it eventually.....sobsob... sad!! although it is not counted for finals, but..... sigh.....

complained to mummy, and she asked me to take a rest. and told BG bout it, and i felt a lil bit better after talking to him. so, in order to get rid of all the sadness, hopped onto my bed and sleep. then went to the post office, 1pound shop in argyle and aldi.

had a very nice dinner, prepared by shyan n vyen. nice hot sauce toufoo with minced meat, and vege. after dinner, suvyen wants to try on her butter cake recipe. so helped her out. it was fun. and as i've said "the fun part of making a cake is to get dirty" and i eventually got super dirty, after the process of making the cake. was spilled with the butter all over my top. it was so "buttery" (joe's quote) but it was fun.=P

the cake was nice, but it was a bit black, cuz the temperature of the oven is too high. we plan to make pancakes for tmr's brunch. =P we are all like si-lais now. aunty aunty baking cakes and cooKies. upcoming recipe = currypuffs =)

intended to go for the pipe blowing competition in Glasgow Green, but when we reached there, we din know, we need tickets. checked out the price of the tickets, it's 9pounds! superbly ex! so disappointed. walked to The Barras Market. it's like Kl's petaling street, not even half of it.saw some selling fake Lv's. so sad, looking at those bags. thinkin of the one i had, i think people couldnt tell which is the real wan which cost few Ks, and which is fake wan.

after studying like a mad cow for the past few weeks, finally, we are done! free! we planned to go Rumours for dinner but according to hongning's information, she said it's not worth it to have our dinner in Rumours, cuz the price for a set of meal is the same for lunch, but there are additional starter and dessert, if im not mistaken, so we set off to look for another nice, and cheap place to dine in.

looking, searching, finally we made our decision to have our dinner in KFC. ordered a bucket of chickens, with fries and a bottle of Pepsi which cost 99pence. We were so excited, overjoyed. we missed KFC and McD! heaps! and this is our first time drinking soft drinks in Glasgow, damn pathetic rite. cuz all the while, we drink fruit juices and milk only. chit chating while having our simplest but satisfied meal. we couldnt finish the chickens, so we da paoed back home.
